About Us

 The Palmer Springs Volunteer Fire Department has been proudly serving south central Mecklenburg County since 1977.  Being a small, rural, all volunteer department presents a unique set of challenges.  We rely heavily on public support of our fund raisers and on contributions during our annual door-to-door solicitation campaign.  We provide fire protection, hazardous materials response, rescue support, non-emergency public assistance and public education for the residents and visitors in our service area.

Our fire department is located at the intersection of Palmer Springs Road, Rough Road and Mineral Springs Road in Palmer Springs, VA.
